EAGLE Project launched - bringing ancient inscriptions to the world
On April 2, 2013, the Accademia dei Lincei in Rome hosted the inauguration of the EAGLE project co-funded by the European Commission. The project will make available the vast majority of the surviving inscriptions from the Greco-Roman world.
The BSR is delighted to participate in this project and will contribute with significant metadata and images from its Archives.
The project is coordinated by the University of Rome, La Sapienza, and more than 20 cultural institutions, archives, universities, research centres and innovative enterprises from all over Europe will be participating.
