Events and conference facilities

The British School at Rome offers classic elegance and modern spaces suitable for a variety of events such as conferences, exhibitions, filming, fashion shows, corporate meetings and receptions.

Our historic building – designed by the renowned English architect Sir Edwin Lutyens – boasts a well-equipped conference venue, plus gallery spaces, meeting and seminar rooms, as well as outdoor spaces including the Director’s Garden and our Italian cortile with its elegant fountain and classic English rose garden. We can offer a variety of tailored catering packages and IT support to make your event a success.

The British School at Rome is ideally situated just outside the ancient city walls on the edge of the Villa Borghese Gardens, near the world famous Galleria Borghese, and a short walk from the Villa Giulia Museum.

A sought-after venue over the years, we have hosted international exhibitions, conferences and professional workshops, as well as being the impressive backdrop to films and photography.
