Rooms

The BSR has 7 artist’s studios (double en-suite) and 23 study bedrooms in a mix of singles and twins.

Some study bedrooms are en-suite but this cannot be guaranteed or pre-booked.

 

Meals

The BSR operates a “communal table”: Dinner is where our residents and their guests come together to share their thoughts and experiences as well as pasta and coffee.
Meals are table d’hote and are served at set times – Lunch at 1pm and Dinner at 8pm.

We will try to cater for dietary preferences but these cannot always be accommodated.   If you have particular dietary requirements please contact us to discuss this before making a booking.

 

 

Residents are welcome to attend meals not included in their room rate or to bring (prebooked) guests and these will be charged to the resident at the following rates:

• Lunch:    Euro 15
• Packed lunch:   Euro 5
• Dinner:    Euro 20
• Formal Dinner:  Euro 25

At weekends there is no dinner service on Saturday, no lunch either day. Breakfast is provided but it is self-service in the Residents’ kitchen.

Other useful information:

Health Cover: EU citizens only are entitled to EMERGENCY treatment through the Italian state medical service but must show a valid European Health Insurance Card (obtainable on line at www.dh.gov.uk/travellers).

Personal possessions insurance: Each room has a small safe for valuables. No liability is accepted for loss or damage to personal belongings and these are not covered by the BSR’s insurance policy.
