BSR Conference Support Scheme

BSR Conference Support Scheme Competition 2013-2014

The BSR invites applications from prospective collaborators who wish to organise a conference at the British School at Rome.

Our Conference Support Scheme is designed to promote the dissemination of advanced research and promote collaborative relationships with universities and research centres. We are looking to support genuinely interdisciplinary landmark conferences that will enhance the BSR’s academic profile and will link up with the BSR’s research themes and priorities.

For selected conferences, the BSR will provide conference venue and administrative support and will offer assistance with hospitality and accommodation. Due to limited funds, no direct financial support is available. Conveners would need, typically, to find additional funding to cover travel expenses and top up what the BSR is able to offer.

For further information on how to apply please see BSR CSS Information Sheet and BSR CSS Application Form.
