Conferences at the BSR

The BSR hosts conferences throughout the year. These range across the full interdisciplinary scope of the BSR and enable resident scholars and artists to present their research, as well as promoting intellectual exchange with the wide range of artists and scholars in Rome, Italy and internationally.

BSR Conference Support Scheme Competition 2013-2014

The BSR invites applications from prospective collaborators who wish to organise a conference at the British School at Rome.

Our Conference Support Scheme is designed to promote the dissemination of advanced research and promote collaborative relationships with university faculties and research centres.  We are looking to support genuinely interdisciplinary landmark conferences that will enhance the BSR’s academic profile and will link up with the BSR’s research themes and priorities.
