Lost and Found: Places, Objects and People

Friday 27 October, 14.30–19.15

This day-long workshop is part of the international festival of the humanities Being Human.
Lost and Found will bring together some of the archaeologists, classicists and experts in other fields who are leading the fight to preserve the traces of our past. From recovering stolen artefacts, to mapping endangered archaeology in the Middle East and North Africa, this event will demonstrate how international researchers are combating global human problems.
Being Human is led by the School of Advanced Study, University of London, in partnership with the Arts and Humanities Research Council and the British Academy. We are delighted to be partnering also with the British Council on this first series of international programming for the festival.
