Residents in the library

Access: residents

BSR residents have access to the Library 24 hours a day during their residency. The 16 desks in the Garden Rooms are reserved exclusively for residents and also for visiting BSR Members. Residents are welcome to borrow books from the Library to use in their rooms.

Due to a long overdue intervention in the 1960s Extension, urgently needed to protect a vital resource for all researchers, the Library will be closed from Saturday 27 June to Monday 31 August inclusive and from Saturday 14 November to Sunday 6 December inclusive.

The following collections – 691 MAR – 691 VEN; 700s; Off Prints; Periodicals — will not be available for consultation from 27 June to 6 December 2015 but all other sections will be available.

There may be some disruption and noise and we apologise for any inconvenience.
