EAGLE Project wins Digital Humanities Award

Many congratulations to all involved in the EAGLE Project which was has won a Digital Humanities Award in the category Best DH Tool or Suite of Tools.

The EAGLE (European network of Ancient Greek and Latin Epigraphy) Project provides a single user-friendly portal to the inscriptions of the ancient world. This project, co-funded by the European Commission and coordinated by La Sapienza, Università di Roma, included more than 20 cultural institutions, archives, universities, research centres and innovative enterprises from all over Europe. The BSR is delighted to have participated in this project and has contributed with significant metadata and images from its Archives
